The Lorax

When I was younger,

My mother would read to me.

She read the Lorax,
And planted the seeds of forestry.

Use your resources wisely,
The book would say.
Listen to the Lorax’s advice,
Don’t cut and send all the trees away.

I am growing up and I have to say,
I love those trees and they should stay.
So I am going to be a forester,
And make sure people don’t send all the trees away.
