Well this past weekend I went up to Rexburg Idaho and went to a ballroom dancing competition where my siblings were preforming. Both teams got first in their division. We left around four in the morning on Friday and got there around 8:30 a.m. Then the dancing and practicing began. We were there for a couple hours then we went to Burger King to get lunch. After wards we went back and were there till around 7 when we got dinner at a sub shop and took the other kids to the hotel to get checked in. Mom and I went back to the competition at 7:30. We took photographs and were there till around 10ish. It was exhausting. BUT I got to see Blondie ((Kaden) cool scout and in the ward we went to church with at camp) and Tyson who worked with me at camp my first year. Both of them were on the Preston High team. When we got back to the hotel it kinda freaked me out. The ceilings were really really short and had small hallways. It made me feel huge. The hotel has an indoor pool so the whole building was very humid and hot. I have to say though that the heat felt good from the below freezing weather of Rexburg. Our door had problems and it took us like 20 times to get it open. When we went inside everything was tight and short. the sink was to my knee... like in the nursery at church. the toilet was normal and the shower was so short I practically had to kneel in it. Very clean though. And over all not creepy. There was however a hallway that was caution taped off across from our hall. It was like a Nancy drew book. Sadly I didn't find any secret passages or want to get into trouble by crossing the tape barrier. I had a fairly goodnight sleep.
The breakfast was good. They had really cool waffle machines. So we left at almost 8 and were supposed to be there at 7:30. But it was OK because the teacher was late too. The kids got their numbers and Syllabus began. Nine hours of non stop dancing that I got to watch. I took pictures while mom got food and when I got super bored. Yep. Then we went to Wal-mart and bought me a cute swimsuit that was a real find. When we got to the hotel we went to frontier pies for dinner. Then we went swimming in the pool. The next morning we drove home.
